Remy helps you turn screenshots, photos, text, and natural-language requests into Apple Calendar events and Reminders. This policy explains what information is processed and how it is used.

Short version: Remy saves events to Apple Calendar and Reminders on your device. When you ask Remy to analyze a screenshot, photo, or message, that selected content may be sent securely to Remy’s API and AI model providers for extraction. We do not sell your personal information or use it to create a separate cloud calendar.

Information You Choose to Process

Images or screenshots you select for analysis, such as tickets, flyers, emails, or chat messages.
Text prompts and natural-language requests you send to Remy.
Calendar and reminder details needed to create or update items you approve.

Device and Usage Information

Remy may collect limited technical information such as app version, device type, iOS version, crash logs, performance metrics, and feature usage. This helps us troubleshoot errors and improve reliability.

How AI Processing Works

Some extraction can happen locally on your device. When cloud AI is required, the selected content is sent over encrypted connections to Remy’s API and then to model providers solely to fulfill your request, such as extracting the event title, date, time, location, and reminder. Avoid submitting sensitive content you do not want processed by cloud AI services.

How We Use Information

To extract structured calendar or reminder details from content you provide.
To create, update, or preview Apple Calendar and Reminders items with your approval.
To maintain app security, prevent abuse, debug failures, and improve product quality.
To provide customer support when you contact us.

What We Do Not Do

We do not sell your personal information.
We do not build a separate cloud calendar database for your events.
We do not use your content for advertising targeting.

Data Sharing

We share information only as needed to operate Remy: with infrastructure providers, AI model providers for processing your requests, analytics/crash reporting providers, legal authorities when required, or with your explicit consent.

Data Retention

Calendar and reminder items are stored by Apple Calendar and Reminders according to your device and iCloud settings. Remy may retain limited logs and diagnostics for security, debugging, and abuse prevention. We keep such data only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.

Security

We use encrypted transport and reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No internet service is perfectly secure, so please avoid submitting screenshots that contain unnecessary sensitive information.

Your Choices

You control which screenshots, photos, and text you submit to Remy.
You can deny or revoke iOS permissions such as Calendar, Reminders, Photos, Contacts, or Location in Settings.
You can delete events and reminders from Apple Calendar and Reminders at any time.
You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of data associated with support or diagnostics where applicable.

Children

Remy is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date.
